Things To See & Do

Shops / Places to Eat and Stay

More than you might think

Westbury is an “historic market town” that still serves as a commercial centre for surrounding villages. The town has a plethora of lively pubs and a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and takeaways (indeed you can sample cuisine from all over the world).  There are also supermarkets and a selection of independent specialist shops. A number of businesses such as solicitors, estate agents, financial services and hairdressers are also located in the town, with larger businesses to be found in the commercial and industrial developments on the outskirts.

If you live in Westbury or are considering visiting the town, below are a selection of reasons for doing so in terms of the types of shops, businesses on offer and places to stay, as well as our weekly Wednesday Market:

Market – Wednesdays – High Street – 8am-2pm – visit our Market page for more information.

Whilst Westbury Town Council would like residents to support local services, we are unable to endorse any particular business, but encourage you to make your own enquiries.
