Things To See & Do
Westbury Heritage Society
The Westbury Heritage Society and was opened as a place to exhibit interesting local information and artefacts.
It is a key component in making residents and visitors aware of the rich history and heritage of this former mill town and its principal aim is to provide a variety of ways for the community to best engage with its heritage.
The Heritage Centre is not a museum but a space to display interesting exhibits and exhibitions on Westbury, its history, culture and heritage. It also contains leaflets and information which visitors may find useful.
Based in Westbury High Street for the past 16 years, it has recently moved to a new location in the historic Westbury Library in Edward Street where visitors can access the society’s interesting collections, artefacts and the archive of old photos and newspaper clippings.
