Remembrance Sunday parade and service will take place this Sunday 10th November from 10.15am.
The parade will assemble in the car park behind the High Street at 10.15am. Wreath-layers are asked to meet at 10.20am in the rotunda.
Members of the public are encouraged to assemble on the High Street at 10.20am ready for the parade to commence. This year, the parade will be staggered at 30-second intervals, so that every parading group will be visible and have a full parade.
The groups will march to the war memorial, opposite the rotunda in the High Street, near the library, where the service and laying of wreaths will take place.
This year, a new sound system will be used so the service should be more audible for the High Street congregation.
There will be a Royal British Legion collection during the laying of the wreaths.
The service will welcome the ‘Trowbridge and District Youth Band’ as well as dignitaries including Colonel Lucy Giles, President of the Army Officer Selection Board, and the Mayor.
