Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 2022 – Children’s Street Party

Children’s Street Party A children’s street party to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will be held in Westbury High Street on Thursday 2nd June 2022, from 2pm until 5pm, hosted by the Mayor of Westbury Cllr Sheila Kimmins. 240 children will have the opportunity to celebrate the longest serving monarch in British history at a 50s style street party on the first day of the extended holiday. Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 2022 – Beacon Lighting

Beacon Lighting On Thursday, 2nd June 2022, at 9.45pm, the Beacon at the White Horse will be lit in commemoration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. There will be a special bugle rendition of ‘Majesty’ played at the historic White Horse site. Dignitaries from across Wiltshire, Westbury Town Councillors and members of the public are invited to witness this iconic ceremony which will take place on the same day as the Jubilee tea party being held in the High Street, Westbury.
